Once per month, Book and a Bite brings together a diverse group of individuals to help facilitate a culture of caring among neighbors; focusing on the food, health, education and economic needs of the community. Families who attend have the opportunity to eat a meal together and enjoy family-centered activities. Each child is able to choose a free book to take home. Community agencies are on-hand to offer their services and interact with the families and the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies distributes food from a mobile food pantry. Volunteers model healthy relationships that contribute to a safe environment, resulting in trust and open doors for meaningful connections & economic, social, and spiritual transformation.
