Who We Are
At the Cheyenne Animal Shelter we take in homeless, stray and owner surrender animals from all over Laramie County.
We also assist families that cannot afford food for their cat or dog as well as assist with the cost of spay or neturter surgery.
The Cheyenne Aniaml Shelter can provide honorary bricks for lost friends, a pet loss support group and animal training classes.
We are looking for volunteers all year around for dog walking, cat socializing, adoption counseling, room cleaning and various event support. Volunteers under the age of 15 are welcome with a parent/guardian chaperone.
What We Do
At the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, we are a family comprised of staff members and volunteers. We share a common goal and are committed to finding every pet a home. Our mission is "To enhance the quality of life for animals and people through compassion, respect and education." Come down to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter today to walk a dog, socialize a cat, turn in a lost animal or meet your newest family member and life long best friend!
