Who We Are
We love our volunteers here at Laramie Peak Humane Society (LPHS)! And there are many ways to be involved!
If you love spending time with animals, SOCIALIZING is a great help. You can walk dogs and work on some training with them. Or if you are more of a cat person, you can play with cats, brush them, and cuddle the shy ones!
If you love helping pets find new homes, we host ADOPTION EVENTS in Doulgas and Casper and always need help with them. You get to converse with future adopters while processing applications and cleaning up after the furry friends.
If you enjoy participating in fun events, helping out with FUNDRAISERS like Paws and Pearls, The Lowrider Race at Jackalope Days, WyoGives, and more are fun ways to raise money for the dogs and cats here! There are many different events, so there is a fit for everyone!
If you are passionate about Community Cats, assisting with our TRAP-NEUTER-VACCINATE-RETURN (TNVR) program is a great way to keep them healthy! We need help handing out information to neighbors and checking the traps.
If you have some extra room in your home to FOSTER a dog or cat, that helps give them one on one time with a family. Whether they have special medical needs, a litter of kittens needing bottle fed, or just need out of shelter life, you can help them find out what a home is like!
