SVMC Charitable Foundation

The Foundation Board is made up of community members who volunteer their time and talents to helping the hospital raise money for smaller equipment and facility needs such as patient monitoring systems or Labor and Delivery room remodels.  The money is raised through event fundraisers, an annual capitol campaign, and grants.  

This group of dedicated individuals also serves as a public relations group who can bridge the communications gap that sometimes exists between the organization and the community.  

Members generally serve a three year term, meet every other month, and usually chair or co chair one event during the summer.  If you are looking for a fulfilling yet not overwhelming way to serve your community, this may be your niche!

The Star Valley Medical Center Charitable Foundation assists Star Valley Medical Center in providing extraordinary service by raising funds to purchase new equipment, land, and buildings, and providing financial support for training to improve and maintain a high standard of care. Contributions to the SVMC Charitable Foundation (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization) provide opportunities for the community to invest in the future of Star Valley Medical Center.

The SVMC Charitable Foundation provides the leadership and the fundraising organization behind annual events including the SVMC Golf Classic and the Mountain Man Triathlon.
