Who We Are

I established the Wanna Ride Foundation in memory of my beloved sister, LaWanna Windley-Ford, who tragically passed away on Mother's Day 2022 at the age of 51. This foundation holds a special place in my heart as it serves as a way for me to honor and remember her while also extending a helping hand to others in need. LaWanna and I shared a deep love for the great outdoors and the breathtaking state of Wyoming, so it only felt right to combine our passions and utilize them as a platform to make a positive impact. One of the key initiatives of the Wanna Ride Foundation is the creation of a scholarship fund in LaWanna's name at the esteemed University of Wyoming. This scholarship aims to provide aspiring students with the opportunity to pursue their educational dreams and unlock their full potential. By contributing to this scholarship fund, we not only honor LaWanna's memory but also invest in the future of deserving individuals. Furthermore, the funds raised through our various events and activities will also be directed towards supporting off-highway vehicle (OHV) trails in Southeast Wyoming. These trails hold immense value for outdoor enthusiasts, providing them with an avenue to explore the natural beauty of the region while engaging in recreational activities.

What We Do

We have an annual fundraiser - Wanna Ride Scavenger Hunt and memorial ride. It is an off-road scavenger hunt. Atv/UTV, Jeep, truck, car, four-wheeler, dirt bikes, if it has wheels its in. There is also a live auction, raffles and games after the scavenger hunt
