Since 1972, Laramie County Senior Services (LCSS) has provided meals, senior exercise and recreational activities, family caregiver support, and other services to the fastest-growing portion of Laramie County’s population.
In November 2021, thanks to the support of Laramie County Commissioners and the approval of 6th Penny funding by local voters, plans for a new Laramie County Senior Activity Center were set in motion. Today, with the center officially open and a strong, engaged community behind us, our mission is growing stronger than ever. We remain deeply committed to enriching the lives of the seniors who helped shape Laramie County, honoring their legacy through meaningful programs, resources, and connection.
What We Do
While our location has changed, our mission remains the same: to honor and preserve Wyoming’s history and values by enhancing the independence, dignity, and self-reliance of all Laramie County senior citizens. We continue to support older adults through nutritious meals, social activities, wellness resources, and other services that promote independence and overall well-being. These services remain free or low-cost for seniors.
Our new facility features two floors with a total of 15,000 square feet and includes 78 parking spaces, including accessible parking. Conveniently located off Pershing Boulevard, the center is designed to help us better serve the senior community, and we look forward to welcoming you to this vibrant new space.
