Who We Are

4-H develops skills that will last a lifetime by helping young people acquire self-discipline, a sense of responsibility, confidence, the ability to set goals, communication skills, record keeping skills and a better understanding of themselves and others. 4-H is an informal, practical, learning-by-doing program for youth. The purpose of 4-H is to assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing skills, and forming attitudes to enable youth to become self-directing, productive members of society.

What We Do

4-H is an informal practical, learning-by-doing educational program for youth. Professional and volunteer staff provide educational projects and activities in shooting sports, animal science, family and consumer sciences, leisure arts, citizenship and leadership. It is the youth component of the University of Wyoming Extension of Natrona County.  Training is provided and background checks are required.
