Who We Are
The Brinton Museum is located in Big Horn, Wyoming, at the base of the Bighorn Mountains, and is the only museum in the U.S. that maintains a historic and expanding Western and American Indian art collection on a beautifully preserved historic ranch. The art, as well as the 600+ acre Quarter Circle A Ranch, are an American treasure.
What We Do
The Brinton Museum encompasses the historic Brinton Ranch House, with outbuildings, gardens and grounds, as well as a state-of-the-art museum building exhibiting Western Art, American Indian Art and Artifacts, and temporary exhibitions in a variety of media. Our goal is to allow our visitors to experience life on a gentleman’s working ranch of the 1920s and 30s, surrounded by art in an ideal setting, and learn about the history, art and peoples of the region.
