Do you qualify for a Habitat Home? Prospective Habitat homeowners must demonstrate a need for safe housing, must be willing to partner with Habitat including work for “sweat equity” build hours, and must be able and willing to pay an affordable mortgage.
Can anyone apply to be a Habitat homeowner? Yes. Habitat follows a nondiscriminatory policy of home-buyer selection. Neither race nor religion is a factor.
