Greeters/Guides will be needed to help with Project Homeless Connect. Duties include:
- Welcome community members when they walk through the door with a friendly smile and hand them a map/pass.
- Guide them first to the survey table so they can grab a hot beverage, sit down, and complete the survey.
- Following the survey, one of the greeters will guide them through the information stations so they can learn about all of the community resources available to them, show them where medical screenings are, donations, haircuts, etc.
- Be sure to point out where they can get a meal/snack and encourage them to take their time.
- Exit greeters: As they leave, thank them for coming.
Please note: You will be required to stop back by the volunteer Check-in table and sign out when your shift is over.
