Volunteer: Volunteer Long-Term Care Ombudsman

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman program is looking for Volunteers to help advocate for Resident's rights in Nursing homes, Assisted living facilities and Boarding homes. This is an excellent opportunity to make the life of Long Term Care residents a little better. The volunteer would need to commit to 36 hours of initial training, 18 hours a year for continued certification and two hours a week in the facility virtually, or physically when visitors restriction are lifted. The volunteer needs to be a great listener, good at communicating and writing. Must be over 18 and pass a background check.
