Needs From: Volunteer Wyoming

Volunteer: One-to-One Mentor

We are in need of mentors for our One-to-One program in Cody, Wyoming!

We need positive role models with skills, wisdom, and time to share. Giving kids access to mentors with positive lifestyles is an invaluable resource. Even something as small as having a conversation with a kid who might need support is a great way to contribute.

At Bright Futures One-to-One, each mentor is matched with a designated K-12 student in Cody for the school year. Mentors join these students at their schools once a month to spend time together over lunch. Mentors provide their own transportation and Bright Futures provides the meals. Mentors and mentees are matched based on similar interests and preferences. These matches could be a high schooler joining an elementary or middle school student, or an adult joining a student of any age. All mentors undergo a vetting process and training before being paired with a child.
