Needs From: Volunteer Wyoming

The parade may be over, but we still need help wrapping things up. On Sunday, November 29th, volunteers will remove signage downtown and along the parade route. It’s quick work with a team, and you’ll leave knowing you helped return downtown to normal while putting the final bow on a successful holiday celebration.

Be on the front lines of the parade! Each barricade needs two volunteers (with at least one person 21+). If you’re under 21—no worries—we’ll pair you up. All volunteers will attend a mandatory safety briefing with the Cheyenne Police Department, where you’ll get your barricade assignment and a police radio. From 2:30 p.m. to about 8:00 p.m. on Parade Day, you’ll help keep everyone safe and festive while getting a front-row spot to the holiday magic.

Spread a little holiday joy—literally! On November 24th, alongside our signage hanging team, we’ll be delivering poinsettias around town. Volunteers will help with transporting and distributing the plants. Exact times and drop-off locations will be shared as we get closer, but this role is perfect if you love lifting spirits (and poinsettias

Help us set the stage for the big day! We need a cheerful crew to hang street-closure signs throughout downtown. This job usually takes about four hours, but the more hands we have, the quicker it goes. Bonus: you’ll be one of the first to help kick off parade week!
