American Red Cross of Wyoming

Who We Are

The American Red Cross has been serving the people of Wyoming since the first Rocky Mountain chapter was chartered in 1914. Today, the American Red Cross of Wyoming is part of the Red Cross Colorado & Wyoming Region. Our volunteer teams, located throughout Wyoming, make it possible for us to serve more than 540,000 people and cover more than 90,900 square miles.

MISSION: The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

VISION: The American Red Cross, through its strong network of volunteers, donors and partners, is always there in times of need.

The Red Cross is not a government agency. The Red Cross is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to deliver its mission.

What We Do

Our mission is more than words. The American Red Cross of Wyoming works to make sure that every community is prepared for disasters big and small.

The Red Cross provides food, shelter, and comfort in emergencies; teaches lifesaving skills; assists members of our armed forces and their families supplies about 40% of the nation’s blood; and distributes international humanitarian aid.
