Who We Are
Campbell County Public Library System (CCPLS) includes Campbell County Public Library in Gillette and Wright Branch Library in Wright.
The mission of Campbell County Public Library System is to provide diverse cultural opportunities for reading, learning and entertainment to all citizens of our community. We lead the way to a universe of information with personal service and technology.
The mission of Campbell County Public Library’s Volunteer program is to involve the community in library activities by inviting volunteers to assist with library programs and projects.
What We Do
CCPLS is full of free entertainment and information for patrons of all ages in the form of books, ebooks, audiobooks, databases, DVDs, music, magazines, board games, and more! We are a community hub offering programs like children’s story times, young adult gaming clubs, and adult history, music, craft, and general interest events, as well as author events for all ages.
CCPLS is always looking for volunteers (adults and teens) who enjoy contributing their unique talents and knowledge to assist our staff and our library users! Library volunteers assist with things like:
- Locating books
- Processing donations
- Hosting library events
- Homebound visitation
- Clerical tasks in various departments
- And more...
Call us and together we’ll create a schedule that fits your life and allows you to help our community.
