Who We Are

Becoming a volunteer Circles Ally makes a difference in your community, in your own life, and in the life of an individual working their way out of poverty. Circles works to break the cycle of poverty by partnering hard-working graduates of our Getting Ahead workshop with a support network of trained volunteers - Allies - to help individuals and families build the resources necessary for self-sufficiency. Allies are trained and supported volunteers from middle income and wealth that provide intentional friendships and role modeling for graduates of our sixteen-week Getting Ahead course. We are now inviting applications for Allies to match with recent Getting Ahead graduates and for our upcoming graduation in January. Allies commit to two Circles meetings each month with childcare and dinner provided for both Allies and participants. In Cheyenne, we meet on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Allies receive a free one-day training, the nationally recognized Bridges Out of Poverty (presented in partnership with AhaProcess!), and the ongoing support of a trained and dedicated staff.

Could Your Group Provide a meal for Circles?

Circles provides intentional friendships, encouragement, and support for families and individuals working toward self-sufficiency.  By providing a meal, your group will have the chance to see this process in practice.  Your support encourages participants and helps build community.  Circles Wyoming invites you to consider providing a meal for our weekly Circles Community meeting!

What We Do

Circles Wyoming builds community resources, relationships, and understanding to bridge the gap between poverty and overall well-being.
