We are looking for volunteers that can help set up for our kids clothes swaps approximately every three months. Job duties include loading bags that weigh approximately 20-30 lbs & transporting bags of kids clothes from our storage location to the venue that will be hosting the kids clothes swap. Once at the venue we unload the bags & take the kids clothes from the bags to set out on tables. During the swap we are looking for volunteers that can help sort donated clothes & reload tables. Then after the swap we need volunteers to help tear down, load the bags of left over clothes & transport them back to the storage location. We are also looking for volunteers that can donate their time to picking up bags of clothes from Seconds on Third and transporting them to our storage area. The volunteers need to be able to lift bags weighing about 20-30 pounds and have a vehicle that is able to transport the bags. The amount of bags varies greatly each day; sometime there are only 20 bags and in the summer there can be close to 100 bags daily. We are also looking for volunteers that can help in our used book store. Job duties include sorting, alphabatizing & catagorizing donated books. As well as restock shelves.
