Who We Are
We have volunteers who are trained to prep fossils and go out to the field to participate in fossil digs. In the museum we need people willing to train to be tour guides and assist in the gift shop. We often need extra help setting up, running and cleaning up after special events. Such things as our National Fossil Day open house in October, Holiday open house early in December and our annual conference at the beginning of June. We also have various other events during the year.
What We Do
The mission of the Tate Geological Museum at Casper College is to provide educational resources to its community and visitors by being a leading Earth Science Education Center in the region through its exhibits, collections, and programs.
