Who We Are
Enjoy a fine collection of artifacts depicting the history of southeastern Laramie County, by touring this 4-1/2 acre museum. The main exhibition hall has a gift shop, prehistoric artifacts, and displays reflecting the history of Pine Bluffs, Albin, Burns, Carpenter, and Egbert. Other buildings include the oldest schoolhouse in Laramie County, a decommissioned Catholic church, the Brodine-Walker Boarding House, a Union Pacific Caboose with railroad memorabilia, the Bowser homestead house, and the Agriculture and Transportation building, featuring a display of Plains Indian artifacts, including a tipi for the kids to play in, an extensive barbed wire exhibit, and a 1938 Fire Truck used by the town of Pine Bluffs.
There is no entrance fee to the museum, but donations are greatly appreciated.
What We Do
It is the mission of the Texas Trail Museum to preserve and restore the heritage of the Frontier Crossroads Area (Eastern Laramie County, Wyoming) through displays and education.
