Wyoming Coalition for the Homeless

WCH believes that people can best be reached where they are at the moment contact is made. WCH does not make demands, and tries to raise self-esteem and confidence through the Art From The Streets program. This is the first step in helping people move from the street back into the mainstream - but it needs to be done according to the need and the time frame of each person. We don't tell them what they need, but rather ask them what we can do to help them achieve their goals. It shall be the purpose of the WCH to decrease the incidence of homelessness, improve the quality of service to homeless people, effect systemic change, and impact the institutional roots of homelessness. This will be accomplished through education, advocacy, direct services, and resource development.
