Who We Are
The YES House serves kids ages 7-18 in a variety of ways; including residential treatment, crisis shelter, on site JR and SR High School and IMPACT Youth Mentoring. Mentors come from all cultures and interest groups, and should be at least 18 years old, however older Mentors are always encouraged to join us. Mentors are asked to complete an application, a thorough screening, interviewing, and training process before they are matched with a child or youth. Mentors are asked to commit a minimum of one hour per week with the child they are mentoring for a minimum of one (1) year. We understand that life changes can and do occur, however research shows that for children to be successful they must form a strong attachment with a caring, responsible adult. This relationship takes at least 4 months to nurture and can be life changing for our at-risk youth. Site based mentoring typically runs the duration of the school year. Community based mentoring can begin at any time. We have kids waiting for mentors now! Please call today 307-686-0669 or like us on Facebook IMPACT Youth Mentoring
