The YWCA of Sweetwater County provides services through the following programs:
~Early Care and Learning Center (ECLC) provides quality child care and pre-school for children birth through second grade. The Center provides a structured program with an emphasis on school readiness. During the summer break a day camp for school age children is available. Tuition assistance is available for families who income qualify.
~Sweetwater County Family Justice Center (FJC) provides services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child sexual assault, child abuse, stalking, elder abuse and all forms of family violence. The Center partners with local law enforcement, County Attorney's Office, Legal Aide of Wyoming, Southwest Counseling Services, Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, local clergy and religious organizations and Victim Services. A 24 hour a day crisis line and Safe House is available and staffed by State of Wyoming Certified Advocates.
~Financial Empowerment program provides basic financial education and awareness to assist in individuals being fiscally responsibly. Classes are based on an individual or groups specific needs and will provide tips on basic budgeting, responsible management of bank accounts, becoming aware of personal credit, learning to eliminate bad debt. Classes are free of charge and will be held based on individual need.
