Junior Achievement (JA) is a nonprofit organization that prepares young people for future success by providing hands-on programs focused on:
Financial literacy – Teaching students how to manage money, budget, save, and make informed financial decisions.
Entrepreneurship – Helping students understand what it takes to start and run a business.
Work readiness – Building skills for careers, including job interviewing, resume writing, and understanding the workplace.
Founded in 1919, Junior Achievement operates across the U.S. and in more than 100 countries worldwide. Its goal is to inspire and prepare young people to thrive in a global economy.
What We Do
JA serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade and partners with schools, businesses, and volunteers to deliver its programs. The curriculum is often taught by trained community or business volunteers, helping bridge classroom learning with real-world experience.
