Lander Free Medical Clinic

Who We Are

The Lander Free Medical Clinic is the first free medical clinic in Fremont County history. We were founded by experienced healthcare professionals who recognized the need for effective and innovative solutions to improve the health of our community. We provide primary care, specialty referrals, prescription medications, diagnostic testing, at-home monitoring equipment, and vision and dental care. All of these services are provided at no cost to our patients, thanks to the support of volunteers, donors, and local healthcare partners. Yet, we are more than just a clinic. For many folks, we are a safety net. We help our neighbors navigate insurance programs, sign up for SNAP, apply for Disability benefits, and access local transportation. We help them receive free cancer screenings, quit tobacco use, and complete advance directives. Our partnership with Lander's First Stop Help Center, located just down the hall from our office, helps us provide toiletries and gas cards on-site. We walk with our patients every step of the way, providing comprehensive care that meets them where they are and helps them move forward.

What We Do

Our mission is to provide free healthcare and wraparound services to low-income, uninsured, and/or underinsured residents of Fremont County, Wyoming through the support of generous volunteers and donors.
