Foster Grandparents of the Wyoming Rockies

An AmeriCorps Seniors Program under the umbrella of AmeriCorps. Sponsored by Action Resources International.

Foster Grandparents of the Wyoming Rockies serves Albany, Carbon, Sweetwater, Uinta, Lincoln, Johnson and Sheridan counties. 

Place caring senior volunteers in schools, Head Start centers, early learning centers, and residential facilities to tutor and mentor children.

We offer a modest tax-free stipend and travel reimbursement, which does not affect any benefits you may already receive, in exchange for a 15-20h minimum per week time commitment and the strong desire to make a difference in the lives of schoolchildren.  Volunteers may work up to 40 hours per week, and receive paid holidays, paid sick and vacation and other paid days off, along with summers off if desired.
