The 23rd Annual Awards & Recognition to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs is scheduled for Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at the Ford Wyoming Center. Breakfast will be served at 6:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 7 a.m. There is no cost for tickets and/or table reservations. Instead, all ticket holders will be expected to make a contribution to support the thousands of youth impacted by the Club.

Each year the Club chooses a special honoree who has made a significant contribution to the betterment of the community and state. The 2021 honorees are Rocky & Lisa Eades are co-founders of Jason’s Friends Foundation – a non-profit that provides financial resources for Wyoming families who have children suffering from life-threatening brain or spinal tumors and other childhood cancers.
The featured guest speaker is Amy Van Dyken-Rouen, Olympic Gold Medal Champion Swimmer.
The recipient of the Mick & Susie McMurry Cowboy Code Try Award will be announced, along with the 2021-22 Central Wyoming Youth of the Year and Ruth R. Ellbogen Education Award.
The Breakfast is the culmination of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming’s Annual Giving Campaign; Forward Together for Our Kids. The Forward Together Campaign addresses the crucial areas of need to recover from COVID-related impacts and to build a sustainable future for the Club. Contributions in this campaign will help the Club reach a $1.7 million, two-year fundraising goal to support its $3.9 million budget.
