SAFE Project is seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals to join our Board of Directors. Apply now to help a nonprofit that serves survivors of domestic and sexual violence and stalking.
We are seeking general board members as well as someone who has financial or accounting skills to be our Treasurer.
As a board member, you’ll help guide the mission of SAFE Project, providing leadership and oversight of our organization's overall big picture, goals, finances, and sustainability. Board members also join one or more special committees, support and evaluate the executive director, and assist with fundraising.
What makes an ideal candidate:
- Believes in creating a community free from interpersonal violence
- Brings diverse perspectives, professional expertise, and compassion
- Is willing to commit to regular meetings and actively participate in events and committees
- Possesses connections and resources or is willing to build connections
